TOC Student Success Stories

  • Denver Jn. Baptiste was a student at Medgar Evers College. He studied TOC and applied it to Tutorial Management in the Department of Mathematics discussed in Chapter 3 of the TOC text. He did a lot of community work and worked with students. He presented his research in TOC and biology in various conferences and received many awards. He graduated in June 2010 and is now doing his Ph.D. at Princeton University in Combinatorial Biology.

  • Reginald Dorcely was a math major at Medgar Evers College. He was the first person to study with the author Tutorial Management and TOC. He also presented in conferences and received many awards for his research in TOC and applications of Mathematics to Environmental Science. He overcame numerous family difficulties such as his infant's surgeries and finished his education. He has a Masters degree in Mathematical Education and teaches in NYC school system and also works as an adjunct in Mathematics at Hostos Community College.

  • Sophia Smart was business major at Medgar Evers College. She studied TOC and applied it with Denver to Tutorial Management. She was a senior class President and took student leadership roles. She also presented her research on TOC and business management in various conferences and received many awards. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in June 2010.
